Keravan Taidemuseo

The New Artist premiered March 26, 2010 to May 10, 2010 in the Keravan Taidemuseo in Finland in a show entitled How to build a dishwasher, presented in conjunction with the 2010 Pixelache Festival.

For this performance, the Performer and Spectator robots were enclosed in a theater constructed of plywood panels. A projection on the outside of the enclosure provided a surveillance view of the performance from four security cameras installed inside. However, many human viewers autonomously sought a way to peek over the wall in order to see the robot performance with their own eyes.
