Ian Brill

A native of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Ian Brill is an artist-musician who engages parallels in visual art, music and gestalt interpretation. His time is split between developing algorithmic audio compositions, illustration, painting, sculpture and performance art. He also plays guitar and drums. Ian is actively exploring new ways of simulating human behavior within interactive installations.

A resident of Pittsburgh for seven years, Ian holds a degree in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. He has participated with the Precision Contractors musical performance art group in collaboration with William Kofmehl, George Magalios, and Brian Grant. He has performed at The Andy Warhol Museum, The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh's Center for the Arts, and Penn State University.
